Rodney Alcala is a serial murderer that is most often referred to as the Dating Game Killer after he was a contestant on the popular game show in 1978. He was sentenced to death in California in 2010 for committing five murders in the state between 1977 and 1979. It is believed, however, that he may have over 130 victims. Alcala's charisma and murderous output have a striking similarity to that of Ted Bundy. More than one police detective has referred to him as a "killing machine". He was a sexual sadist and specialized in strangling as a form of torture. He would choke his victims into unconsciousness then revive them only to repeat the torture again. He specialized in creating false photo auditions in which he would book prospective models for a photo shoot then rape and kill them. A traveling serial killer, Alcala would operate out of the Los Angeles area but would journey as far as the Pacific Northwest in search of victims. He would have a locker in Seattle where he would keep a stash of mementos and photographs of his victims. In September of 2016, authorities released a series of photographs that they believe could be additional victims of Alcala. They are now asking for the public's help in identifying who the subjects in the photos are.

I feel bad writing a bad review on this but all it is is a tiny little pamphlet with a few pages about Alcala that are repeated over and over again online so there was nothing substantial in it. Also, I personally caught a couple of actual incorrect information on Alcala. Then, it has several "chapters" on other serial killers. This was a complete waste of money!Product details

An interesting book but very short. Rodney Alcala was a mad man, there is no doubt about it. His killing spree disrupted many lives in the hearts of family members. It is truly scary to think about. It is a huge sigh of relief to the society that put him behind bars for his evil deeds but it truly won't be over until he gets executed, which is what he definitely deserves.
Rodney Alcala was a prolific, relentless killer who stalked, raped and murdered in many locations. With camera in hand, he lured young women by offering to photograph them, providing a portfolio that would put them on track to a glamorous career.
This serial killer was so bold as to appear as a contestant on the Dating Game while police were actively looking for him.
This is a "would be" story where the writer repeatedly uses "would be" to describe past events. Many times future and past tenses are used in the same sentence.
The original story and the bonus story are the things nightmares are made of. It's really horrific that the legal system could not apprehend sooner.
