I really enjoyed this book. Although I would not typically pick this type of writing, Ms. Pyles did an exceptional job! The story was fluid, characters were vivid and everything tied in nicely. I had a hard time putting this book down. Ms Pyles paints a picture in your mind with her words and sometimes, I even felt I was right there, observing what was going on in the story. That's a hard thing for writers to achieve, but Ms Pyles aced it! I am looking forward to reading the next book, I hope we don't have to wait too long!!Product details

It introduced me to a world that I had not thought about and it made it very real. I actually wondered if I hurt someone when I stepped on my shadow as a child.
I could not put this book down!!! I am terribly eager for the second book and am so impressed by this one. Fabulous job!!! Will be recommending this one to all my friends and family!! Can't wait to read book 2!!
Really enjoyed this work.. The flow was great. I was able to read this work quickly without even realizing the time was passing... could identify easily with the main character...great escapism.. hope you keep this series going Ms. Pyles

Ok I'm a really picky reader, I love fantasy and this one is right up there on my list!!!!! Very well written and makes you want more!!!! Can't wait for the next installment!!!! She makes you believe in her characters and bond with them. Keep up the good work Jennifer you have made me a fan and ready for some more so keep busy writing.
I've never liked this type of book.....until now! I am a fan! Can't wait for the next book. It's entertaining, well written, funny, and hard to put down. I can associate with normal fears and current thoughts and fears. Well done Jennifer Pyles .....Well done!
Amazing storyline, grabs you and doesn't let go. Could barely put it down while I was reading it, loved every minute.
